How does QuickChef actually generate a recipe?
You type in the ingredients you have on hand, along with any dietary preferences. QuickChef uses AI to suggest a recipe built specifically around what you've entered - no need to have every ingredient a typical recipe calls for.
Are the recipes AI-generated?
Yes. Every recipe you see is generated using AI based on your inputs. It's not pulled from a fixed database of pre-written recipes. Since it's AI-generated, we'd recommend using your own judgment, especially around allergies or specific dietary needs.
What's the difference between Basic, Plus and Premium?
Basic gives you the functionality of generating recipes by entering some minimum information and meal types. Plus adds more features to Basic such as onion & garlic toggle, spice level control, dietary restrictions, saving recipes to favorites, etc. Premium adds furthermore features to Plus such as regional cuisines, meal plans, grocery lists, etc. Full details are available on our Subscriptions section.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancelling stops future billing but you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Do I get a refund if I cancel partway through a billing cycle?
Generally, no. QuickChef is a digital subscription with immediate access, so partial-period refunds aren't provided except in specific cases like duplicate or unauthorized charges. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Does QuickChef support Hindi?
Yes, QuickChef is available in both English and Hindi. You can switch languages from the toggle on the main recipe generator page.
What does the 'Onion & Garlic' toggle do?
Some users follow onion & garlic free cooking for religious or personal reasons. By default, QuickChef gives recipe suggestions onion & garlic free, but you can turn this off if you'd like recipes that include them.
Can I use QuickChef web app as a normal mobile app?
Yes. You can use QuickChef web app as a normal mobile app from your phone. š¤ On Android, open www.quickchef.in in Chrome browser -> tap ā® menu (top right) and choose - Install and Create Shortcut. š On iPhone, open www.quickchef.in in Safari browser -> tap the Share button and choose Add to Home Screen, then Add. š² With this, the QuickChef app icon will become available on your phone screen and you can use it as a normal mobile app.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. Payments are processed directly through Razorpay. QuickChef does not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details at any point.
